American Machinery Movers, Inc. has been in business since 1973 and we are family owned and operated. We are located in the New Orleans area and work across the gulf south. We specialize in rigging, machinery moving, hydraulic crane rentals with operator, forklift rentals with and without operators, heavy hauling, local and 48 states trucking, indoor and outdoor warehousing and export packaging. Our previous work experience range from small capacity jobs to very large capacity jobs. We have highly trained crews with experience that range from two (2) to thirty (30) years experience with us. All of our employees have TWIC cards, GNOIEC Basic Plus, Powersafe, and various site specific certifications. All of our cranes and operators are certified yearly. We have a monthly safety meeting with all employees that include our in-house safety manager and a representative from our Worker’s Compensation Insurance. Our substance abuse policy includes pre-employment testing, random testing, probable cause testing, post accident/incident testing and return to duty testing.
